Eminence R-I is pleased to announce the acquisition of a new Kubota M7060 tractor for use with our Agriculture Education Department!

This purchase was made possible through a cooperative partnership between the Eminence R-I School District and Board of Education, the BEST Foundation, Curtis and Melinda Voelkel, and the MO DESE Vocational-Technical Education Enhancement Grant. We are very fortunate to have the support and confidence of these groups and individuals and their generosity is very appreciated!

Mr. Voyles and several Ag Department students were able to make a trip to Bolivar to be trained on proper implement usage and safe operating practices along with the maintenance requirements of the tractor ahead of its delivery to the Eminence R-I campus on September 26, 2024.

Journalism Class

The Redwings Journalism Class visited the Summersville Beacon on Tuesday, August 27th. They learned the processes that are followed to produce the newspaper each week and got to spend some hands-on time by putting inserts into the papers then sorting, stacking and banding the stacks of papers that will be sent out this week.

We would like to send a big Thank You to the staff at the Summersville Beacon for having us!

Eminence High School got a huge dose of reality today with ”Reality Bites”! Each student was given a folder with an income and family size and had to create a budget. Then, each student visited every station to determine what their expenses for the month were based on their family dynamics in the packet and some of the students were SHOCKED at how much money it takes to run a household each and every month!
